How Machetes Can be Useful and Beneficial?

  It is a broad-blade, single-edged tool. It has been used by humans for hunting, food preparation, and agriculture primarily in tropical Central America and Southeast Asia as well as Caribbean and southern Mexico.  Machetes have a relatively thin blade, which is generally sharpened only on one side of the blade. They are typically wielded using both hands, one hand holding the handle near the head with either arm over the shoulder and elbow outstretched, while sweeping or grasping with the other hand at about an angle to control how it cuts through brush or vegetation.  The typical blade ranges from 50 cm (20 in) to 75 cm (30 in). It has been used as a weapon and a tool in the hands of the ancient Maya, the Aztecs, and the Incas, among others. It was also commonly used by peasant farmers in Europe and Latin America.
