Is There A Purpose To Carrying A Cool Knife With You?

cool knives

Knives are the tools that we need in hunting and for other outdoor adventures. Not only for adventures, but these cool knives are also useful for survival and everyday carry tasks. They come in a variety of types and styles, you can choose the one you want.

An Overview Of Development Of Cool Knives

Each year, new knife design concepts are unveiled by different knife manufacturers all over the world.  In many cases, they've been developed to cater to a specific market or a specific user's needs. For example, a popular European manufacturer of kitchen cool knives came out with a carving set in order to carve vegetables and sausages without the mess and hassle of carving raw meat

Some might argue that it's difficult or even impossible to create something new given that there are only so many ways you can shape steel into different shapes. While this is true for those who have been around for decades, those who have been around for less time know how refreshingly original design concepts can actually be.

Three Main Aspects When It Comes To Design

First, the design has to be functional, second, it must be ergonomic, and third, it should have a soul that appeals aesthetically in order to attract the general public's interest.

The first cool knife concept showcased by this New Jersey-based custom knifemaker is a packable survival tool called "COOL KNIVES". Instead of being made from ordinary steel, this unusual survival tool features an all-weather blade made from polypropylene(a lightweight plastic) which can be easily wiped clean or run underwater without rusting.

When outdoors, the tool's handle is designed to be comfortable in either wet or dry conditions. For example, it features a drop point shape which offers superior control over the blade when taking out branches or cutting string. The handle also features block textured panels which are meant to provide grip even in wet conditions. Cool knives are not only functional but they're part of a unique collection that should attract players, outdoorsmen, and collectors alike.

How To Defend Yourself With Cool Knives?

I don't often carry a knife with me, but when I do it's either because the situation has gotten out of control and I need to get back into my car or home without too much fuss or because I'm heading out to the bush and want to take a cool knife with me.

Even such simple tasks as buying an ice cream can turn sour if you take matters into your own hands. It's not unusual for someone struggling with severe mental illness, substance abuse, or homelessness to feel unsafe in public places so they try desperately to protect themselves against unknown threats by carrying a cool knife.

However, it is possible for people who carry a cool knife to use it in self-defense if you are attacked if you have a "reasonable fear" that you will be wounded or killed or suffer serious bodily injury unless you use the weapon.

Uses Of Cool Knives For Other Purposes

Many uses of cool knives from the most common which include cooking, dining and opening packages to more niche applications such as piercing through metal or acting as a life-saving tool for emergency situations. If you're ever going hiking, camping or fishing, a knife is an essential part of your survival kit that most people forget about until they need them most.

Knives are also used to prevent an accident from happening when cooking because you can cut off your fingers if you're not careful with them, as well as protect your hands from burns. This is easy to understand and some cool knives will come with safety covers on them just for this very reason.

While some people use knives to open packages, the blade should never actually touch the package. Cutting rubber or plastic can damage or harm your knife and will cause it to rust faster, which is something you don't want when you're trying to add value to a product. A cool knife can also be used as a pry tool when trying to open a stubborn jar or box without too much hassle.
